How to play The Afterward Beat
Mark a completed effort with a single well-timed tap. Watch the moving pulse and tap when it reaches the marked target zone. This visual timing round can be played without sound and invites a small, deliberate moment.
Your starting point
Mark a completed effort with a single well-timed tap.
The rules
Watch the pulse move and tap when it reaches the marked target zone. For still play, choose calm mode and select the percentage where the marker appears.
A helpful approach
Watch a little of the movement before tapping. Use the visible target zone as your cue; calm mode offers still markers, and sound is not required. Keep one completed thing separate from the unfinished list, and allow a pause without claiming every problem has disappeared.
After the game
What did you notice during the wait before choosing the moment to tap? What is one thing you can honestly call finished today, even while other parts of the day remain open?
There is no need to turn a small moment into a perfect performance. Play again if you want to explore it, or leave it here and take the thought into your day.
The feeling behind it
A task is done, a question is answered or a pause finally arrives. Make room for the ordinary exhale after effort.
A social coffee-break custom inspires taking a pause; fika is not a Swedish translation of relief.
